Everything About Me

My parents gave me a unique name. My name is Yessy. Everyone calls me “yes”,”si” or “yessy”.I do not know the meaning of my name, but I think my name consist of the great hoping from my parents. My parents always support me in school. So, I think my parent’s hoping that I will be successful woman.

I was born in small district in foot of Singgalang Mount. I was born on January 7th 1992. The name of place where I was born is “Sungai Tanang”, but in my official document was written I was born in Bukitinggi. I do not know why my parents changed that information. But wherever I was born, I still Minangkabau’s people. I am proud to be one of Minangkabau’s people because Minangkabau has much unique culture.

Now, I study in Universities Nigeria Padang. I am taking English Literature at English Department. I am in the first year. When I was a child I never imagine living and studying in Padang. The place is far from my parent’s house. However I am happy because I can try live alone and manage myself without my parents. I can know how difficult live without our parents beside us.

I had lost my father when I was in Senior High School. At the time, I was in second class. I was very sad at that time. I felt like the sun lost from the sky. I never imagine my father will died when I still need him. He got sick for four months before he died; he never gave any message to me, but I understand his desire. He wants all of his child get successful. I promise to myself that I will be successful woman to make my father proud of me. I will never see his proud face, although.

Actually, I am a bad tempered girl, but now I have already able to control my emotions. I am a worried girl. I am always nervous and fear to try something new. I always accept apologize from someone if they had mistake with me. I like to help others. When I was a child I used to be lazy to do my home work. Now, I always do it immediately

I really like to read novels, especially romantic novel. I also like to read comic and short stories. In the future, I want to be a writer, but I do not know how to good in writing. I think I should browse some article from the internet about how to be good in writing. Beside that I should write to practice my capability
